VIDEO: How Walt Disney World Transforms from Halloween to Christmas

Christmas is truly a magical time of the year, and it should come as no surprise that The Most Magical Place on Earth can transform from Halloween to Christmas overnight in just a few days.  Immediately upon closing all four theme parks, Disney cast members get to work changing out the decor which is stored in six full size trailers throughout the year.

Back in 2018 the folks at Walt Disney World gave us a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to pivot from Halloween to Christmas.  The iconic Magic Kingdom Christmas tree stands at 65 feet tall, weights 30,000 lbs and comes in multiple sections.  Cast members have hourly goals to complete each night ensuring when guests arrive the next morning a little more Christmas cheer has been spread around your favorite park.
