Mickey and Pals Return to Chef Mickey’s with New Menu Items Beginning December 16

October 06, 2020

Over the summer Chef Mickey’s at Walt Disney World returned as part of the phased reopening but without our favorite characters Mickey Mouse and his pals.  Instead of the usual guest-favorite buffet, the resort restaurant switched to a modified family-style meal, similar to Garden Grill at EPCOT.

Now there’s a great reason to wave those napkins high again!  Disney has announced Mickey and his friends are returning to Chef Mickey’s to host an all-you-care-to-eat family style feast fresh with new delicious dishes beginning December 16.

Along with traditional breakfast favorites (I’m looking at you Mickey waffles and delectable sausage), there’s the new Mickey’s “Celebration” Pancake, featuring whipped cream, celebration sprinkles and shimmering pixie dust.  Waffles aren’t your thing?   How about a “Loaded” Potato-Cheese Casserole topped with smoked bacon crumbles and chives.  Still looking for something else?  Maybe Goofy’s Banana Bread French Toast which combines unique flavors of banana bread baked in a zesty orange-scented French toast batter, topped with Espresso-mascarpone cream, toasted bananas and chocolate crumbles will hit the spot.

If you can’t decide which new dish to try, don’t worry, it’s family-style,  Chef Mickey guests get all three along with your regular breakfast favorites.

Reservations for Chef Mickey’s character breakfast will open on October 17, based on availability. In addition, Disney Resort hotel guests can make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay (up to 10 days). For more information, please click here.
