Guests planning a visit to EPCOT will soon have a concrete reopening date for the Coral Reef Restaurant. The popular dining venue is set to welcome diners back on November 4, 2026, following a temporary closure that begins on September 8, 2026.

Walt Disney World previously scheduled the closure for an extended refurbishment and planned maintenance, leaving the operating calendar completely blocked out for about eight weeks. While Disney’s public notice originally pointed to a vague return timeframe of later in 2026, the updated operating calendar now shows that reservations are officially open for booking starting on November 4.

When the restaurant resumes operations, it will continue to operate under its current schedule by offering dinner service only. Coral Reef Restaurant quietly ended its lunch service in January 2026 after earlier signs flagged the reduction, moving to a daily operating window starting at 4:00 p.m. That reduced schedule remains unchanged upon its return, meaning lunch service is not coming back.

Disney has not shared specific details regarding what work will be done during the upcoming closure period, leaving it unclear whether the interruption was a refurbishment, a planned seasonal closure, or another type of project.

The Coral Reef Restaurant is known for serving Florida Coastal Cuisine, featuring ocean-fresh specialties and classic favorites with Florida flair. Diners can start their meal with appetizers like Lobster Bisque before selecting from a seasonal menu that may include Grilled Snapper, Surf and Turf, and Shrimp Fettuccine. Younger guests also have access to kid-friendly choices such as grilled fish or chicken served with satisfying sides, all while enjoying views from the restaurant.
