VIDEO: In this Episode of “Ride and Learn” Discover Treasure and Treasured Secrets Aboard Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland Resort
In honor of this coming Saturday’s Talk Like a Pirate Day Disney has posted their latest “Ride and Learn” video. In it we take a look at a Disneyland Park classic, Pirates of the Caribbean. A fan-favorite for sure, the ride tells the story of a band of pirates and the saga of their voyages. The ride originally opened in 1967 and was reimagined after the success of the film series Pirate of the Caribbean. It holds over 630,000 gallons of water, includes 75 audio-animatronic pirates and villagers and can take 3 days to empty and refill the entire ride.
