Disney Previews Grand Lobby Design and Branch & Brush Lounge at Lakeshore Lodge

Ahead of upcoming reservation dates, Disney has revealed a new look at the grand lobby and the new Branch & Brush lounge coming to Disney Lakeshore Lodge. The upcoming resort is currently scheduled to open on July 1, 2027, along the shores of Bay Lake at Walt Disney World Resort.

The newly shared details highlight the resort spaces welcoming visitors upon arrival. The grand lobby features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of Bay Lake and The Wetlands pool area. Inspired by Pocahontas, the lobby floor includes a shimmering fiberoptic river that illuminates the space and flows around a custom bronze centerpiece created by Walt Disney Imagineering. Guests examining the design can spot familiar characters from decades of Disney animated films etched into the centerpiece. Overhead, the blown-glass Colors of the Wind sculpture features hundreds of suspended glass leaves designed to add movement and color.

Positioned just beyond the lobby is Branch & Brush, a new lounge serving handcrafted cocktails alongside views of Bay Lake. The venue draws inspiration from the changing seasons through rich colors, natural textures, and a collection of artwork. The central focal point of the room is a color-changing chandelier designed to bring all four seasons to life while guests unwind in the space.
