Banana Ball is returning to Walt Disney World for its second consecutive year, bringing the Banana Ball Open to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex from April 15 to 18, 2027. The dates and schedule details were announced live during the Banana Ball City Selection Show on ESPN2 and the Banana Ball YouTube channel.

Marking a major expansion from last year when two teams played at the complex, the 2027 event brings all six Banana Ball teams to the resort. Four of those teams will compete inside The Stadium for the Banana Ball Open tournament. The participating teams include the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, Loco Beach Coconuts, Firefighters, Indianapolis Clowns, and Texas Tailgaters.

The event venue features more than 9,500 seats, four luxury skyboxes, and open-air suites. Fans attending the games can expect the sport’s trademark entertainment style, which includes a two-hour time limit, choreographic routines, comedy sketches, trick plays, and unique rules such as fans catching foul balls for outs and batters stealing first base.

Fans hoping to attend the 2027 event must sign up for the Ticket Lottery List on the official Banana Ball website before it closes at 11:50 p.m. EST on Halloween night, October 31. Joining the lottery enters participants into a random drawing for the chance to purchase available tickets, though entry does not guarantee a purchase. Standard tickets start at $35, and Meet and Greet tickets start at $100, with no hidden fees and no tax. For those unable to attend in person, games will stream for free on the team YouTube channels.

In addition to the live tournament, a music-driven sports documentary titled The Banana Ball Film is scheduled to debut in 2027, tracing the ten-year journey of the sport.
