Grand Floridian Cafe Returns to Walt Disney World Following Refurbishment

The Grand Floridian Cafe has officially reopened at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa following a multi-month refurbishment. The restaurant closed on July 20, 2026, for an extensive dining room update and welcomed guests back on November 2, 2026.
During the closure, brunch service was temporarily hosted at Cítricos. With the reopening, the Grand Floridian Cafe returns to separate operating hours for each meal. Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., lunch is available from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and dinner is served from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Reservations can be made through the My Disney Experience app or the official Walt Disney World website.
The refreshed dining room features a lighter and brighter look designed to match the resort’s recent updates. Notable interior changes include white columns, pale green lattice panels overhead and along room dividers, and citrus and lemon topiaries placed throughout the space. The updated decor also incorporates gold shelving displaying blue-and-white porcelain, coral-upholstered chairs with diamond-patterned backs, floral-print banquette seating along the walls, and a new floral-patterned carpet.
Alongside the newly designed interior, Disney introduced several new menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. The highlighted new dishes include an Apple Butter Cinnamon Roll topped with a cinnamon-caramel crumb for $8, and The Club sandwich featuring house-roasted turkey, carved ham, bacon, herbed cheese spread, crispy onions, and tomato focaccia served with house-seasoned steak fries for $19. Additionally, guests can now order a Cobb Salad made with romaine, house-roasted turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato, egg, blue cheese, and Cobb dressing for $21, alongside plant-based Fried Green Tomatoes served with remoulade sauce for $12.

Guests planning a visit to the resort should note that other renovations in the area, including the main covered entrance, are scheduled to continue through early 2027. Visitors may encounter ongoing construction work and alternate walking paths around the property while those projects move toward completion.
