Disney Cruise Line Details Itineraries, Venues, and Booking Dates for Upcoming Disney Believe Ship

Disney Cruise Line recently hosted a livestream to share details about the upcoming Disney Believe, which is the fourth Wish-class ship in the fleet. The ship is currently being assembled at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, where its first gigablock floated out in September.
The Disney Believe will officially set sail on its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027. Operating out of its homeport at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the ship will sail four-night and five-night itineraries to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. General on-sale bookings for voyages aboard the new ship will open on October 19, 2026. Trent Hitchcock, a nearly 20-year veteran of Disney Cruise Line, has been named the opening cruise director for the inaugural season.
The ship’s Grand Hall draws inspiration from Moana and features an ocean-hued carpet, constellation ceiling details, and a central bronze statue of Moana, Pua, and Heihei. The space also includes a dynamic moving chandelier shaped like ocean waves with the Heart of Te Fiti concealed inside.

The Disney Believe will feature three rotational dining locations. Returning favorites Worlds of Marvel and 1923 will be joined by a brand-new restaurant named Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast. Located on Deck 5 Aft, this dining experience places guests inside a Scandinavian summerhouse for a celebration hosted by Oaken and his family, featuring musical entertainment and appearances by Anna and Kristoff.

Additional food and beverage locations include Joyful Sweets, a dessert shop on Deck 11 inspired by Inside Out 2. Two specialty cafes, Big Hero Sips and Cafe Kakamora, will serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages. Returning venues include the Haunted Mansion Parlor, which will offer a new selection of drinks.
The ship’s lounges and entertainment spaces draw from various Disney stories. Wishing Well is a Snow White-themed lounge located off the Grand Hall on Deck 3, featuring a bar evoking a gothic castle, a courtyard seating area with white blossoms and red apples, and a performance area inspired by the Seven Dwarfs cottage. Sea Notes is a Little Mermaid-inspired piano lounge featuring a pearlescent white piano at its center. Skygazers is an observatory-themed pub for adults designed like an astronomer’s laboratory, offering craft brews, specialty cocktails, and light bites alongside live sports broadcasts. Gazelle serves as the ship’s main entertainment venue, themed to Zootopia and featuring family daytime activities alongside an evening adult-exclusive space and a new family detective show starring Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Additionally, the entrance to Disney’s Oceaneer Club will feature a Monsters, Inc. theme.
For theatrical entertainment in the Walt Disney Theatre, the Disney Believe will debut the first-ever stage adaptation of Encanto, celebrating the film’s music by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Colombian-inspired culture. A reimagined production of Tangled: The Musical will also be performed with new special effects, alongside the returning Wish-class show Disney Seas the Adventure.
Staterooms on the ship feature papercut-style artwork inspired by Moana, Coco, and Inside Out. Concierge guests can choose between Neverland-themed spaces inspired by Peter Pan or Pixar’s Toy Story oceanview rooms located above the bridge. The ship also includes two royal suites, the Royal Reef Suite inspired by The Little Mermaid and the Royal Rose Suite inspired by Beauty and the Beast, as well as the two-story Believe Tower Suite, which sleeps eight guests and is themed around the Magic Kingdom.
