Disney Previews Hurly-Burly Lounge Ahead of October BoardWalk Debut

Disney’s BoardWalk is welcoming a brand-new entertainment venue on October 1 with the opening of Hurly-Burly. Taking over the space previously occupied by JellyRolls piano bar, which closed in the spring of 2025 after nearly 30 years, the venue has been transformed into a historic seaside theater themed around the golden era of vaudeville performances and nautical novelty.

Ahead of its official debut, Disney hosted a preview giving guests a first look at the finished interior and its unique dual-personality schedule. Hurly-Burly opens daily at 4 p.m., welcoming guests of all ages into the early evening. During these daytime hours, an energetic host leads family-friendly activities such as trivia, sing-alongs, and games including Disney-themed bingo. The outside bar and to-go window open earlier at 11 a.m. to serve select beverages.

At 9 p.m., the atmosphere shifts as the lounge becomes exclusive to guests 21 and older for the rest of the evening until 1 a.m. Nighttime brings live musical performances to the venue’s stage, which is framed by red theater curtains with exposed brick and a star-projected ceiling overhead. While an official band schedule has not been released, Disney shared that the rotating lineup will feature acts such as Sia and the Tin Pan, Velvet Soul, Velvet Neon, American Siren, and a Top 40 band.

The interior design leans heavily into vintage seaside aesthetics, featuring dark greens and golds, deep blue walls, dark wood ceiling trusses, booth seating with velvet backs, and powder blue tub chairs surrounding white marble-top tables. Framed displays and artwork highlight fictional historic performers like Poly Delmar and the Siren Sisters.

Guests visiting the lounge can choose from a nostalgic all-day menu of small plates and shareable appetizers inspired by classic boardwalk fare. Food options include Meatballs in Tomato Gravy, Roast Beef Sliders, Oven-Roasted Shrimp, Antipasto, Tomato Pie, and Mini Apple Cider Doughnuts served with miso-caramel sauce.

The beverage menu features both alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices. Highlights include the non-alcoholic Overture in Orange, made with Minute Maid orange juice topped with sweet cream, alongside specialty cocktails like the Mertini, the Caramel Corn Old Fashioned, and the Road to Fame whiskey sour. Several drinks and select beverages are also available at the exterior walk-up window.

Hurly-Burly operates on a walk-up basis only, and reservations are not required for guests visiting the location.
