Atlantic Dance Hall Closing for Regular Public Operations at Disney’s BoardWalk

The Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s BoardWalk is ending its normal operations and will transition to private events only beginning October 1, 2026. The Art Deco ballroom, which has served as a late-night entertainment spot for guests aged 21 and older to enjoy music, dancing, and cocktails overlooking Crescent Lake, will no longer be open to the general public.

The venue’s final weekend of regular public operations will run from September 25 through September 27, 2026. During this final weekend, the Atlantic Dance Hall will operate from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. each night. Following these dates, the space will remain standing in its current form and will continue to be available exclusively for private functions booked through Disney Meetings & Events and Disney Fairy Tale Weddings.

This operational change coincides with the opening of Hurly-Burly on October 1, 2026. Located right next door in the space formerly occupied by Jellyrolls, Hurly-Burly is a new lounge and entertainment destination featuring a turquoise exterior, a vintage lightbulb marquee, and a turn-of-the-century coastal theater backstory.

Hurly-Burly will operate on a dual-concept schedule, functioning as a family-friendly spot offering daytime trivia and games before transforming into a 21-and-over venue with live musical acts beginning at 9:00 p.m. The new lounge will also feature a walk-up beverage window along the BoardWalk promenade and an all-in-one menu offering shareable plates like meatballs in tomato gravy, roast beef sliders, and artisan cocktails.
