Guests visiting Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will need to adjust their dining and snacking plans this fall, as Scat Cat’s Club – Café and Scat Cat’s Club – Lounge are scheduled to close for a multi-month refurbishment beginning on October 6, 2026.

While both locations are closing simultaneously, they will reopen on different schedules. The café is expected to welcome guests again in December, while the lounge will remain closed for a longer period, with an expected reopening in January 2027. Disney has not released details on what specific changes the refurbishment will bring to either interior space. The café previously underwent a refurbishment in 2024.

For guests with upcoming stays at the resort, alternative arrangements have been put in place to ensure access to popular menu items during the closure. Beignets and coffee will be temporarily relocated to Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. Additionally, the seasonal Ghoulish Delight beignets will remain available at that temporary location through November 1.

To accommodate evening guests during the lounge’s extended closure, a temporary bar will operate near the café. This temporary location will be open daily from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM to serve drinks while the main lounge remains out of commission into the new year.
