Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Reopening November 6 at Walt Disney World Resort

October 09, 2020

Are you looking to change up your daily Disney routine?  Then, grab a putter and head over to Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf course.  Reopening November 6, this unique experience is designed by Santa Claus himself.   Legend has it that “late one Christmas Eve, as Santa was flying back to the North Pole, he discovered snow in Florida.  After surveying the strange sight, he decided to build a vacation destination for his off-duty elves”.

Located near the entrance to Blizzard Beach this permanent off-season retreat for Santa is a festively-fun break from the parks.  Winter Summerland Miniature Golf offers two uniquely themed 18-hole courses, each with their own distinct musical soundtrack.  As the name suggests, the first course draws inspiration from the winter season, including snow castles, ice hockey rinks, Squirty the Snowman and many merry obstacles.  The second course represents all things summer.  Guests navigate surf boards, sand sculptures and even a melted snowman.
